Sono fortunata perché adoro il mio lavoro.

L’ho scelto, ho fatto formazione e continuo a farla, e grazie alla mia curiosità e creatività esploro con interesse e piacere il mondo del design.

Non lo cambierei con nulla.

A 25 anni, ho aperto il mio primo studio tecnico, collaborando con ingegneri ed architetti. Ero giovane e inesperta, e nessuno mi poteva dare supporto per capire come realizzare il mio sogno: avere un’attività che ruota intorno al mondo del design.

Dopo alcuni anni, sia per scelta che per necessità, ho iniziato a lavorare nel settore immobiliare, poi finanziario e poi bancario. Ho imparato come funziona il mercato immobiliare, cosa significa fare un'analisi finanziaria e come funzionano gli investimenti. E poi ancora, assunta in un gruppo bancario, dapprima per lo sviluppo delle filiali in Italia e poi agli Acquisti, dove ho capito come si struttura un contratto, come gestire i fornitori e i budget. Non è mancata nemmeno una formazione commerciale in una società di servizi, per finire poi con un’esperienza estera di dirigenza nel trading di materie prime.

Un bagaglio notevole che però non era il mio sogno, ma mi aveva insegnato come realizzarlo.

Dopo una malattia importante, ho deciso che era arrivata l’ora di fare quello che avevo sempre sognato.

Ho aperto lo studio di design a Lugano, ho fatto un Master in Interior Design, mi sono iscritta ad Associazioni di categoria cercando di mettermi sempre a disposizione, ho fatto corsi, anche di marketing e comunicazione, e ho disegnato il mio primo prodotto: un frigorifero. È stato apprezzato dalla società di innovazione statale della Svizzera (Innosiusse) ed oggi anche della Svezia (Almi) che mi stanno supportando per realizzarlo.

Ho stretto partnership, ho costruito un e-shop di arredi e complementi, tutto quanto mi possa servire per costruire il mio mondo tanto sognato.

Con il trasferimento in Svezia ho dovuto riorganizzare tutto, ho mantenuto la presenza a Lugano grazie a ICC, di cui sono Design Partner, una sede a Verona grazie al mio team, e una nuova sede a Catania grazie a Planimetrie.net.

Qui, in Svezia, sto cercando di capire il mercato, le esigenze degli svedesi e soprattutto sto cercando di imparare la lingua svedese. Non facile, ma importante per il lavoro e come segno di rispetto del paese e delle persone che sono diventate la mia casa.

Oggi si aggiunge la bellissima notizia che SA – Sveriges Arkitekter, l’Associazione degli Architetti Svedesi, mi accoglie come nuovo membro.

Grazie mille sono davvero onorata ad unirmi a voi, è un privilegio che mi aiuta a realizzare il mio bellissimo sogno di design. Siete, non solo l’organizzazione professionale per tutti gli architetti di Svezia con la visione di un’architettura ben progettata, mirata e sostenibile, ma anche un faro per far comprendere le esigenze di progettazione e costruzione contemporanee e future.

Da parte mia metterò tutto l’impegno di ascoltarvi, di seguire le vostre indicazioni e di fornirvi un punto di vista differente, un po’ Made in Italy dove potrò!

“La casa dovrebbe essere lo scrigno del tesoro del vivere”, diceva Le Corbuiser, e noi abbiamo il bellissimo dovere di ben disegnarlo e realizzarlo.

I'm lucky because I love my job.

I chose it, I trained and continue to do so, and thanks to my curiosity and creativity I explore the world of design with interest and pleasure.

I wouldn't trade it for anything.

At 25 years old, I opened my first technical studio, collaborating with engineers and architects. I was young and inexperienced, and no one could give me support in understanding how to realize my dream: having a business that revolves around the world of design.

After a few years, both by choice and necessity, I started working in the real estate sector, then finance and then banking. I learned how the real estate market works, what it means to do a financial analysis and how investments work. And then again, hired in a banking group, first for the development of the branches in Italy and then for Purchasing, where I understood how a contract is structured, how to manage suppliers and budgets. There was also no lack of commercial training in a service company, to then end up with foreign management experience in raw materials trading.

A remarkable baggage which however was not my dream, but had taught me how to make it come true.

After a major illness, I decided that the time had come to do what I had always dreamed of.

I opened a design studio in Lugano, I did a Master's in Interior Design, I joined trade associations trying to always make myself available, I also took marketing and communication courses, and I designed my first product: a refrigerator . It was appreciated by the state innovation company of Switzerland (Innosiusse) and today also of Sweden (Almi) who are supporting me to make it happen.

I have entered into partnerships, I have built an e-shop of furniture and accessories, everything I could need to build my much-dreamed-of world.

With the move to Sweden I had to reorganize everything, I maintained a presence in Lugano thanks to ICC, of which I am Design Partner, an office in Verona thanks to my team, and a new office in Catania thanks to Planimetrie.net.

Here, in Sweden, I'm trying to understand the market, the needs of Swedes and above all I'm trying to learn the Swedish language. Not easy, but important for work and as a sign of respect for the country and the people who have become my home.

Today we add the wonderful news that SA – Sveriges Arkitekter, the Association of Swedish Architects, welcomes me as a new member.

Thank you so much, I am truly honored to join you, it is a privilege that helps me realize my beautiful design dream. You are not only the professional organization for all architects in Sweden with the vision of well-designed, purposeful and sustainable architecture, but also a beacon for understanding contemporary and future design and construction needs.

For my part, I will make every effort to listen to you, to follow your instructions and to provide you with a different point of view, a little Made in Italy where I can!
